1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, subscribing to, or otherwise using Mobile Threat Defense (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App and do not purchase a subscription.

These Terms form an agreement between you and the developer of Mobile Threat Defense. They apply to the App, its features, its content, and any related support or website pages operated under useful-cleaner.com.

2. Eligibility and authority

You may use the App only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on that organization’s behalf.

If local law requires consent from a parent or guardian for use of paid digital services, you are responsible for obtaining that consent before making an in-app purchase or starting a subscription.

3. Limited license to use the App

Subject to these Terms and the applicable App Store rules, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for personal or internal lawful use.

You do not acquire ownership of the App, its source code, interface, branding, graphics, or other intellectual property by downloading or paying for access to it.

4. App functionality

Mobile Threat Defense is a utility application that may provide smart storage-cleaning tools, duplicate contact review, gallery cleanup, photo compression, password generation, password storage, and related organization features. Available functions may vary by App version, device, iOS version, region, subscription level, or technical limitations imposed by the operating system.

The name of the App does not mean that it can detect, block, remove, or guarantee protection against every form of malware, network attack, identity theft, unauthorized access, or other security threat. You should continue using normal device-security practices and keep iOS updated.

5. Your responsibility for content and decisions

You remain responsible for the contacts, photos, files, passwords, and other information stored on your device. You are also responsible for reviewing cleanup suggestions and confirming that an item should be merged, compressed, removed, or otherwise changed before you approve an action.

Important files and photos should be backed up before deletion or compression. If an item is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered through iOS, iCloud, a backup, or another service, the developer may be unable to restore it.

6. Smart cleaner, contacts, gallery, and compression

Cleaner features may identify duplicate or similar content based on technical comparisons and available metadata. Such results are suggestions and may not always reflect what you personally consider a duplicate, unnecessary item, or preferred version.

Contact-merging results can depend on how names and phone numbers are formatted. Photo-cleaning results can depend on image similarity, metadata, file size, and system access. You should review the selected records before proceeding with a cleanup action.

7. Password generator and password vault

The App may provide tools that generate password suggestions and allow you to store generated passwords or related credentials. Generated passwords are provided as a convenience and are not a guarantee that an account cannot be compromised.

You are responsible for using unique credentials, keeping your device secure, protecting access to the App, and enabling multi-factor authentication on supported services. Do not use the App to store or manage credentials in violation of law, an employer policy, or the rules of a third-party service.

8. Device permissions

Some features require access to system resources such as Contacts or Photos. The App will use the permissions that you grant through iOS. You may change permissions in iOS Settings, but disabling a necessary permission may cause the associated feature to stop working or function only partially.

9. Auto-renewable subscriptions and paid access

Some App features may require a paid subscription. Subscription duration, price, introductory terms, and included features are displayed in the purchase screen before you confirm payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account after purchase confirmation.

Unless otherwise stated on the purchase screen or prohibited by applicable law, subscriptions automatically renew for the same subscription period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

10. Free trials and introductory offers

The App may occasionally offer a free trial, introductory price, or promotional subscription. Eligibility can be limited by Apple and may depend on your prior purchase history, region, account, or other App Store rules. The duration and conversion price, if any, will be shown before you start the offer.

If you do not want a trial to convert into a paid subscription, cancel it through your Apple account before the renewal deadline shown by Apple. Any unused portion of a free trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable under Apple’s rules.

11. Managing and canceling a subscription

You can manage or cancel an auto-renewable subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation generally stops future renewal while allowing access to paid features until the end of the already-paid period, subject to Apple’s rules and the subscription state displayed for your account.

The developer cannot directly access or change every aspect of your Apple billing account. For billing actions controlled by Apple, you may need to use Apple’s account-management or support tools.

12. Refunds

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Refund requests are therefore subject to Apple’s refund policies, eligibility rules, and decision-making process. The developer does not guarantee that any refund request will be approved.

If you believe a charge was made in error, you may contact Apple through the purchase and refund options associated with your Apple account. You can also contact us at support@useful-cleaner.com if you need help understanding which subscription or App feature a charge relates to.

13. Information provided to Apple for refund requests

This information may be used to help Apple evaluate whether an in-app purchase was consumed and to support fraud-prevention or refund-review processes. It is not intended to provide Apple with your contacts, photographs, saved passwords, or the contents of files stored on your device.

Any transmission made for this purpose is limited to refund-related purchase-consumption information and is handled in accordance with the App’s Privacy Policy and applicable App Store requirements.

14. Restoring purchases

Where supported, you may use a “Restore Purchases” function to re-establish access to eligible prior purchases associated with the Apple ID used for the original transaction. Restoration depends on Apple’s transaction records and the availability of the relevant product or subscription.

15. Pricing, taxes, and changes to paid plans

Prices are shown in the App Store purchase interface and may vary by country, currency, taxes, exchange rates, promotional eligibility, or Apple pricing tiers. Apple may display localized prices that differ from values referenced in promotional materials.

Subscription prices or available plans may change in the future. Where Apple or applicable law requires advance notice or consent to a price change, the applicable process will be followed. You may cancel a subscription if you do not wish to continue under an updated price.

16. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive activity;
• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• circumvent purchase, subscription, entitlement, or technical restrictions;
• interfere with the normal operation, security, integrity, or performance of the App;
• use the App to access, alter, or remove data that you are not authorized to control;
• misrepresent the App as your own product or use its branding in a way that implies an unauthorized affiliation.

17. Intellectual property

The App, its design, software, visual interface, text, graphics, logos, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, no right, title, or interest in the App is transferred to you.

You retain ownership of the contacts, photos, files, passwords, and other personal content that already belongs to you. Using the App does not transfer ownership of that content to the developer.

18. Apple and other third-party services

The App depends on iOS, the Apple App Store, and system frameworks controlled by Apple. Certain functions may stop working, change, or behave differently after an iOS update, permission change, account change, regional restriction, or App Store policy update.

Websites or services for which you create passwords are independent third parties. The developer does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, security practices, account rules, or content.

19. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that every cleanup suggestion will be correct, that every duplicate will be detected, that compression will produce a specific file size or quality level, or that every generated password will be accepted by every website.

We also do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device configuration, or protection from every cyber-security risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded in your jurisdiction.

20. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including loss of data, lost profits, loss of opportunity, or loss caused by unauthorized access to a third-party account.

Because some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In all cases, mandatory rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This section does not require you to indemnify the developer for conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required.

22. Suspension or termination of access

We may discontinue or modify features, or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, technical maintenance, or material violations of these Terms. If a paid service is materially discontinued, any rights you may have are subject to applicable law and the App Store’s rules.

You may stop using the App at any time. Uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription.

23. Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple, and that the developer is responsible for the App and its content, subject to the allocation of responsibility required by Apple’s App Store rules. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App beyond obligations that may arise under applicable law or Apple’s own policies.

Your use of the App must comply with the App Store Usage Rules and other applicable Apple terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms to the extent required by Apple’s standard App Store conditions, and they may enforce those provisions against you where applicable.

24. Changes to the App or these Terms

We may update the App and these Terms to reflect new features, technical changes, legal requirements, security needs, App Store requirements, or changes in our business practices. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the current version.

If a change materially affects your rights, we may provide additional notice where required. Continued use of the App after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

25. Governing principles and severability

These Terms are intended to be interpreted consistently with applicable law and mandatory consumer protections. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the invalid provision will be interpreted or narrowed as necessary to make it enforceable where possible.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of mandatory rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
